Not sure if you cna help but if you can't no one can!!!!!
I ahve just moved into a flat which has had a lot of decorating started but none finished.
One of these is the kitchen floor which is bare floorboards that have been painted. I have found int he cellar the tin of paint used (International Floor Paint) but it says nothign about varnishing.
Am I ok to use floor varnish on top of paint? I presume i would have to sand it to provide a key as if it were previously varnished.
I jsut want to make it a bit more hard wearing so that it cna be washed with damp cloths and so on.
