Hi all,
Had a right mare with a 2" ABS run today. Was replacing a sweeping T that was installed the wrong way
, so cut out before and after, 2 straight connectors and a new T (with a rodding eye installed just above for good measure
).
Anyway I couldn't get ANY give in either direction to get a decent connection on the fittings. (to the left the run had an elbow in the the wall, to the right the pipe went through a solid wall). I managed to force it in, in the end, at the expense of a snapped waste which also had to be replaced.
I know you can get 4" slip couplings for PVC but was wondering if theres an equivalant for smaller waste pipes, or any top tips for replacing connections in rigid pipework!
Cheers
