Is this product suitable as a solvent cement for abs pipes?

I would say no, get the proper stuff be aware it sticks in seconds get it right first time!
It's designed for PVC pipe rather than ABS .... will it work .... probably .... would I take the chance that it could leak .... nope .... not when the correct stuff is easily available.
