My office is painted white across all walls and I now need to paint the final wall in sage green. It’s all using Matt Emulsion.

I would welcome any advice or recommended brushes for this task please.

Thanks in advance.

If you're handy with a brush just cut it in free hand. Add a drop of water to the cutting in paint so it flows better. Maybe a two inch brush. Screwfix do some harris trade ones for a good price.
If you're not confident cutting it in free hand you could try frog tape but make sure the other edge is dry before putting it on.

A related question. With shorter days, it's harder to see where I have rolled up to and where I need to continue from. I was wondering if one of the portable job lights will allow me to paint in the evenings?

It would help but it's best to really load the roller and see if you can do it in bands from top to bottom. That way you'll know where you've got to.

UPDATE: finished this today and very happy with the results. The light helped immensely- even during the day - as I could clearly see the wet edge and then continue from there.
My confidence with cutting in grew as the job progressed. Thanks for the helpful suggestions.
