Accenta 8 problem

Hi

would appreciate advice.

Accenta 8 with 2 RKPs

The power light on both RKPs flashes very fast on/off sort of vibrating effect.

I,ve checked the power from the pcb and at RKPs and its near enough 12V

When trying to set, with eitherRKP, nothing happens unless buttons pushed very hard which causes buttons to jam behind plastic.

However when pressing prog and entering engineer code buttons seem to work fine!

Does this mean PCB is knacked and or RKPs?

Can you still get Accenta 8 parts?

Near enough 12vdc?

What is the charging rate?
What is the battery state? When was it last changed?

Voltage sounds low, too low.

Get the battery checked/changed.

I'm a spark to trade so not that up on alarms.

the battery is faulty 10v so does need replacing. or is it a charging fault?

I disconnected the battery and was still getting the same effect as I thought incorrectly? that the battery was a back up and the panel ran off the mains supply unless this failed.

The output from the PCB was something like 12.57V.

How do you check a charging rate?

You need a new battery and to down power and restart.
It could be the panel too, try a restart without the battery attached and see what the voltage is at the battery leads.
