Accenta 8 Mini - Battery

I need to change the battery of my Accenta 8 mini. Can anyone tell me is user code 1 the engineer code?
To open the box without the alarm going off do I have to enter prog then user code 1?

If I enter prog then user code 1 the tamper led is on

Is this the right way of doing it?

No , just open box and put your code in …. It’s only sounding internally ….press reset when you have changed the battery and put the lid back on ….also check the battery charging resistor if it’s black or burnt then it’s time for a new control panel
