I installed one of these panels in my house years ago and a good job it was, when installing any of the zones that wernt being used you just left factory fitted links in situ.
I am now installing one in the house i am moving to now but i see there are no links in zones 1 -8 and the unused zones seem to be set up in programming.
do you have to do this or can you still fit a link as i will only be using zones 1 to 4
    thanks
    Os

No I did'nt know they were obsolete, that would explain why i got it at such a good price, if it lasts as long as the other one i'll be happy enough
