Accents 8 alarm

my outside alarm box is making a soft sqweeky sound. What does this mean?

Will it start ringing loudly outside?

Probably ....depends on what bell box it is ....and why it's making that noise ! Faulty battery in panel dragging down voltage to bellbox , the crystal balls broken tonight ! Lol

What can I do to stop the outside alarm if it starts in the middle of the night. I am getting quite worried for the neighbours. Thank you for responding.

Call someone out !

If it goes off, and cannot be silenced by entering code, you will need to remove power from the panel, open the panel, remove battery then get ladder access to the bell box, open it and remove battery. (You could do this now to disable it.)
Or remove power from panel and listen to bell until batteries run down

Then find the fault source and rectify.
Might be best to sort it before it happens.​

Thank you for the responses. TonyW2 was very helpful. Have got an engineer to look at the problem who identified dead battery and bell broken. Thank you all
