Accessing Spybot

Hi - hope someone can help me. I have Spybot installed on my PC but when I click on the icon in the task bar to run it the screen briefly says spybot is loading and then it disappears of the screen completely and it's as if I had'nt initialized any thing. Any ideas?

Hi - thanks, I thought of that but when I started to do it I was warned that uninstalling may undo any protections applied with the "Immunize section". I'm just bumbling my way around so I hope someone can help!

Yes, re-install. You can update and immunise once it's reloaded.
