Hi and apologies if this is in the wrong area.

Looking for advice on my garden and a drainage problem with heavy rain and run off water. It slopes from one side of the house to the other by the thickness of a brick and from the back of the garden to the area getting wet by roughly the same or slightly more.

I've opened up the rodding eye for the surface water to drain when it's really wet so it helps clear the water and I'm 100% sure it is the downpipe eye because I can hear water going through when raining. I'm just worried about the water that gets into my neighbours from under my fence and runs down their path.

Question is, will an aco drain sort this if connected to the downpipe or what other alternative do I have. Thanks for reading.

Yes, a surface channel drain should sort that out as long as the levels allow it to fill and drain "up hill" if that's what you mean - 100 and 150mm channels are available.

Or a row or two of permeable pavers and a perforated pipe (land drain) in gravel and geo-textile below the surface, if you don't want an ugly grating visible. Or even a slot drain channel for the same reason.
