We're planning to knock through a load supporting wall and hold up two pairs of existing RSJ's with a steal column. The column has been calculated to need 152x152x23kg UC

What is the appropriate way to acrow the steal beams while removing the wall supporting one end?

Considering there are 2 steels for each side of the cavity, would you put an acrow under each steel or support both steels with one acrow and some sort of block between the two?

A prop under each beam as it seems like a high load there, with one piece of timber to cover both beams to avoid them moving independently - and care when tightening the props to avoid lifting or moving one more than the other.

Brilliant. Makes absolute sense Woody.
Was going to prop at two points on each 3 meter beam (four acrows in total) so it shares to load and provides some resilience in case one fails.
Does that sound right?

Yes do that if you think it necessary, or for piece of mind. Props are incredibly strong, but the important thing is to spread the load with timber at the top and on the floor, and wind them up evenly. And don't forget to secure them at the top so that one does not topple as you raise one of the others
