Adapter for this tester?

What kind of adapter do you use on the tester to connect to the pipework. Its like a 1/4 male thread. Thanks

Did think about using one of the dry test pressure kit but the gauge isnt as accurate as a manometer

Nah, valve into 15mm compression fitting & pump up to 1/2 bar. Sorted!!

10 minutes roughly. If there's a leak the air will Pizz out quickly.

Unless you bubble test every joint, 10 minutes on a decent length of installed line won't show pinhole leaks by looking at pressure loss

The section to be tested was just a 500mm length of 22mm with an elbow either end and a 150mm section in the elbows. So not a large section at all. The rest of the pipe run is getting run after the plasters been in.

Guess you haven't got the bit about how installation volume massively effects tightness testing.... Especially when that small a volume.

The normal test is around 20mbar.
