Add dialer to existing alarm

hi all. please can i trouble you for some help on this. I would like to add a phone dialer / text alert from an existing wired alarm system. is it possible without replacing the control box? I am thinking something that runs off the bell wire (but without disconnecting the bell). Ultimately I would like to add cctv so a dialer would be great to allow me to check in if there was an issue
