I have a texecom veritas R8 alarm and wanted to add this dialler.
It says The trigger inputs are normally
connected to the alarm control panel communicator outputs or bell output.
I already have a bell connected so what is the communicator output?
In the installation guide it says
Texecom Veritas 8/R8 trigger1 (N/A) trigger 2(N/A) trigger 3( B)...(Intruder)
Polarity (-ve) +12V (Aux +) 0v (Aux -)
What terminal is "B" trigger 3( B)
Is it B (bell) on the External Sounder Connections?
I assume then it is activated regardless of what zone set the alarm off, but can the bell and dialler use the same terminal?
OK sorted. (Texecom tech support)
The only way to do this is by wiring it into the bell neg on the panel and input 3 you will have the bell box wire and the dialer wire in the same conection point so it will be 2 Wire’s out of B one to the bell box and one to the dialer
This then should fire the dialer once the panel go’s into alarm
