Adding a door to a three sided carport attached to house

Could you see a problem with putting on a garage door onto our car Port it will be a roller type.

you are talking about a garage.

So putting a door on my garage do I require permission, the wood cladding won't make a difference on anything? There isn't any form of access from the inside of the house only a gate into the garden.

I wonder, when it was built, what it was? Maybe it has already been altered once or more.

You might be able to get a copy of the PP plan from your council's website.

I bought it as a new build so we are the first owners

you might be able to tell if the original PP said it was a garage or a carport. Unlikely but there might have been conditions on it.
