Hi all,

I am istalling new basins and monobloc mixer taps in 2 bathrooms. The pressure through the new taps is very low compared to the previous installation. There is an existing H&C 22mm pumped feed to each bathroom for the showers.

1) Can I take a feed from the existing pumped supply in both bathrooms.
2) If so would I need to tee of with 22mm (distance approx 1.5m from the 22mm pumped feed to the taps.
3) would it make sense to connect the whole house H&C feeds (apart from the direct mains colds downstairs) to the pump?
4) Should I kust Ebay the taps and get "good old fashioned english ones"

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Connect everything to a pump, and the pump will run whenever a toilet is flushed. Pumps are usually noisy. Even more so at 3.00 AM.

15mm pipework is ample for basin taps.

Some brassware suited to low pressure supplies is available, even on fleabay, but if the working pressure isn't quoted I would assume the fittings are for high pressure.
