adding radiators

hi im having a hard time looking for a plumber,that could add some radiators this side of the new year,and was wondering how difficult is it to do?
could we do it ourselves? we have an ordanary boiler and a water tank,not a combi.
has anybody else here done it?
i dont want to be stingy but i was quoted £40 an hour

No wondered there're no plumber's around,they holed up in their holiday home aboard

Can be a DIY job, especially if the system isn't too old. PLenty of pamphlets in the "sheds".

But believe me, an awful lot can go wrong!
