i want to add two rads to my combi, someone said if i do them in 15mm like the rest they wont heat up. is this true and do i need to do them in 22mm

As long as they aren't huge radiators then do them in 15mm.
As a rule of thumb 15mm carries upto 4kW, i.e. 4 no. 1kW rads, however there should be a suitable amount of 22mm. already in the system nearer the boiler.

Well, 4 - 6kW (probably nearer 4kW for an existing system)
