Hi everyone, I'm a relative newbie when it comes to plumbing but I'm planning work at my house and have a few questions before I get started.

I have a toilet sitting against the exterior wall with the soil pipe running along said wall towards the front of the house. I would like to add another toilet along the same wall, just further towards the rear of the home. in order to connect the soil pipe from the new toilet to the already existing one, could I just use a T junction? and also, what would keep waste from possibly backing up into the first toilet as it runs through the pipe?

I can make a drawing If that isn't specific enough. I will be posting regularly and greatly appreciate any help or advice.

Matt
