Hi everyone!

I would like to install outdoor wall light by the front door, controlled by a switch in my small porch. I have two ceiling lights in the porch controlled by a 1 gang 2 way switch (other switch for these lights is in the main front corridor).

This is the switch wiring.

Now, I would like to convert this switch into 2 gang switch, but I am not sure if I can power my new outdoor light from this? Am I able to do that? Or do I need to feed my new light off the ceiling light or perhaps junction box?

Thanks. If I coonect it to the junction box that is feeds this particular circuit, can I then turn this 1gang 2 way switch into 2gang?

If the JB has permanent live ,neutral, and earth present ,then yes you can pick up a supply from there. And you would need to run a cable to the switch, and of course to the light fitting.

Yes it does. Here is the image:

I may actually buy a fresh junction box, this seems to be from the middle ages.

So I need to get T+E cable from this junction box to the Light Fixture and then another T+W to the existing switch bu change it to 2gang switch?

What have you used to establish those cables are part of the lighting circuit, and permanent live and neutrals are indeed what the conductors are ?
If they are ,you take a cable from the JB ( which indeed needs replacing) directly to the switch position, and another from the switch position to the light fitting.
And of course a new 2 gang switch can be used ,or a separate switch position completely can be installed a double pole switch would be beneficial as it would totally isolate the external light fitting.
Is the circuit RCD protected ?

The cables go directly to both switches and they have live current. Yes, the circuit is RCD protected. Switching it off at the box, the current disappeared. Hence I know that is the light circuit.

Thanks for all the help.

Are there neutrals present ,in insulated terminal blocks, ( or similar), present in the switch mounting box ?

Assuming that junction box is permanent live and neutral, changing it to a four terminal box could be wired like this if it makes it convenient for you:
