Thinking of ways to heat an additional room, one idea is to add a radiator back to back with another rad.
Problem is my down stairs rads are all feed by 10mm microbore (upstairs 15mm) and ive read and been told that "T" ing off would not work because of velocity problems.
That said the rad which would be T'd from is valued at 2500 btu's and 730w and the new rad is 6400 btu's and 1168w with only a very short run of pipe joining which seems a low combined output.
I don't know if the microbore is feed via a manifold from upstairs or a larger diameter pipe at a shorter distance.
Is this a possibility?
