Hi I have what I think are 1950’s tiles which I think are asbestos which I’m going to remove myself as it’s an unlicensed job but was wondering is there a chemical I can get to remove the bitumen like adhesive, any help is really appreciated cheers.

When I cleaned up some old parquet I found that white spirit (not substitute) got the iTunes off the blocks
I have a large telescopic Harris scraper that takes maybe 100-150 mm wide blades. I used that when taking the adhesive on the floor.
