I wonder if anybody is familiar with a flushdown 2 piece WC?

The bowl is split laterally so that the lower part (which connects to the soil stack) is fixed to the floor conventionally. The upper part simply sits on top guided by a few (ceramic) locating pins. The problem is that the adhesive which holds the two halves together seems to have given up doing its job which makes a session on the throne a rather more shaky experience than should be the case.

Any recommendations as to what could be used as an effective adhesive?

Any help much appreciated.

Mould can grow on it though, so leave the edges low and cover with sanitary silicone when set.

Clean everything thoroughly before you start with meths.

Or powdered ceramic tile adhesive . ........seem to remember they used white cement way back :?:
