Adjust pier foundation level slightly

hi there .

I’m a couple if mil out on a block Pier ( joists sitting on dense blocks that are cemented in ( and concreted in ) is there a way I can raise one By a few mill ?

There are very heavy duty plasic things available on line that I can order . BuT is there a other options that I could pick up in wicked or b and q ? Maybe something that doubles as a DPC ?

Thanks - it’s about 2-7 mill

mortar a good ideal , except at this point something i could slip under it would be far preferable .

appreciate any suggestions

Would slate not break ?? Now you mention slate - perhaps extremely strong floor tiles ?

Bits of plywood/MDF/OSB/hardboard - anything like that would do - the pressure under each joist is not great.
 
You hammer pieces of slate in tight, it may break but still has the compressive strength. Google slate packing.
Ceramic tiles may also work but slate delaminates so it can be packed firm.
