The sensor in my hall causes the keypad to bleep every time it detects movement. This is when the alarm is not armed. There is no internal battery in the sensor.I have swapped the sensors to no avail. As you can imagine it is very annoying athough the alarm is still working.

Any help would be most appreaciated.

Many thanks oasistechnical,
That worked a treat. One more question,is the chime function only linked to one pir?

The chime function is only available if programmed during installation and
can only be selected if the system is unset. When set to chime, the internal
sounder will emit a ‘Chime’ tone if any normal alarm, entry route or final
door zone is opened. Where an exit terminator is fitted, this will act as a door
bell when the system is set to chime.

From the manual.

Code ---- 7 yes or tick

hi sparky marks thanks so much for replying!

whoops! i didnt say which alarm -it is an AD OPTIMA COMPACT

when i put the code in and press 7 my only option buttons are "chime"or "omit"

ive tried this pressing "omit" but it still chimes with two of the sensors

It normally helps to say what panel !
Press chime then 0
This will all depend on the age of your panel there has been 4 generations of this panel.... Post a picture if this does not work....
