Advent laptop audio problem

Yes, all installed.
Sadly still no sound.
All drivers now installed are from Realtek's own website and all audio devices in Device Manager reamin as legacy as per my previos list.

I'm not sure what else to suggest without seeing it.

I'd say its a faulty audio chip.
Only had this situation once before with a SBlaster pci card in a tower where all the drivers installed perfectly but no sound was to be had. Returned the card to the shop who confirmed that the card had died.
