Advice about flue sysems.

I have an Ideal Icos m3080 conds boilers, with a horizontal flue, was thinking of building a lean to on the side of the house, but the flue would end up inside. Question is, would it be possible to have a vertical flue with this boiler, i can't exit the walls of the new lean to, as to close to windows and doors, so the roof seams my only option.
