i'm having problems with ford fiesta x reg. The heating blower is blowing cold air constantly. I discovered that the coolant reservoir was empty a few months ago so i filled it up which then made the heating a bit warmer but it didn't cure the problem. I then drained the system down and flushed it completely which is where i found the leak on the thermostat i then resealed it an filled the system again. This didn't cure the problem either. I have checked the voltage to the matrix valve and there is 12v which then disappears as you alter the temperature. I'm not sure if the valve is broken because the inlet pipe to the matrix gets hot but the outlet pipe is cold. what are you thoughts?
should i just replace the valve or do you think that the matrix is blocked?
