good evening all,
This is my first post so go easy on me please.
Right my issue is that there is considerable damp coming through my garage wall ( see pics ). The brickwork is soaking on this end wall and i suspect its the coping slabs are responsible? it is a metal roof - no lining - and polystyrene slabs to insulate it.
i am thinking that if i replace the coping stones with sloped ones and a new damp membrane would this solve my issue?
between the brick and metal roof its lead flashed but i dont think its cut in an the cement is just over it. its all been painted with sealer so that cant be the leak? the pitch is quite shallow but plenty for the rain to run off.
Also any tips on improving the roof - lining it to stop moisture build up etc?
many thanks - Adrian
