Hello folks - last year we had a bit of work done to the house - we replaced a window with patio doors and knocked a wall down between kitchen and lounge.
We're now thinking about getting a floor in, so want to tidy up some of the 'scars' of the building work. Is it just the case of filling with concrete to just below level (5mm?), then using a self-leveling compound for the top?
If it's any use, we'll be putting down an engineered wooden floor (floating) on top of some underlay.
Thanks a lot - Andy

2nd pic - where the old wall and cabinets once stood
