Advice needed on new electrical trip fuse/trip box

Don't quote me on this, but as far as I'm aware, the IVY boards came in right at the end of the 14th Ed., so yours, Ban, could be a replacement?

The brown one installed in the 80's could be old stock or there could well have been a cross-over period between the old brown and new ivory units.

You may be right, about the time plug in MCBs were introduced,
it was not possible to fit the fuse cover without removing the centre panel.
This was not easy with the hard brown material, so maybe the reason for change, with the ivory one it had a groove that allowed it, though was still brittle.
I think they further changed to an even softer plastic at a later date, and a stanley knife cut it, though by then i think the boards had a back box.
