Advice needed urgently.

Hi guys,
I'm new on here.
My problem is,I'm 2/3 done on my loft boarding.
I've been using 38x50 shaved hardwood for battens.Untreated.
Now I'm reading posts saying "treat all new timber".
What should I do?
Take all the boards up,or will it be o.k?

What type of hardwood ?

Treating is not that essential.

Most timber in roofs/lofts is not treated, unless in an area of the UK subject to insect attack (down south mostly)

Timber is redwood.
Have seen a few dead beetles up there(not the group)!
