just be carefull if you use a roaming sim with the emizon as it can take up to 30mins to lock on and register on to the network and same agian if it moves due to another basestation.

The alarm system thinks it has a land line but the "land line" is from the PremiCell or similar. The original Nokia Premicell was designed to provide telephone service at remote locations. An ordinary phone plugged into the Premicell could be used by the owner as if it were connected to a land line but was in fact acting like a mobile phone.
The range on them was very good. One user was 20 miles from the nearest mast and with the Premicell on a pole above his roof service was reliable. But expensive.
