hi i am about to cut an opening in cavity wall ?? do i have to tie the cavity walls together every 9" in the new doorway and if so whats the best way to do it. also 7" to the right of the opening above is a joist that the stud wall upstairs sits on is it ok i am using box lintels opening is only 30 "
