you could have patched that crack with a drop of solder then sanded flat, you can still do that and you will have a spareHave bitten the bullet and ordered a replacement from the manufacturer.
Can anybody point me towards a replacement cone or whatever its called for future as I'd like to have a go at soldering so I can repair pipes like this when required.

Think the fitting is 1/2" and the pipe is about 10mm.what size is the pipe/fitting BTW - 1/4" 3/8" 1/2"?
The fitting's probably bespoke then I would think, certainly at that size. It's not a 'standard' fitting.
