Hi I need somebody to confirm does the following gas fired hot water heater - Chaffoteaux et maury brittony 2 requires connection to a fused spur as part of installation????, we have had one in our house for over 10 years that needs replacing but I am unsure if it has a fused spur as a must

It's a multipoint water heater. All it does is heat domestic water, and only requires a water and gas supply.

Thank you all for help on replies, can anyone advise of a suitable replacement with same dimensions? as we need to possibly replace as not heating water correctly.

primitive and easy to service, have you cleaned the heat exchanger? last one I looked at was heavily silted.
