Hi all
As so often the case the first post is generated by a potential problem...
We've just had 11 sash and case windows fitted plus a small fixed triangular window, a complete glazed screen including french doors and a front door. All are made of Agba and all have been supplied as factory finished.
Within 48 hours of the windows being fitted they have started to develop a milky stain that I cannot rub off. The windows were installed last week by the same company who made them and now most external areas of the windows are affected by the issue. This includes an internal area where the window hadn't been fully sealed and some water has seeped in. I'm not worried about this - I knew it was still to do.
The joinery company have been quick to respond to my email raising my concerns and will visit the site later this week which considering it is trades holiday I'm pretty pleased about.
If it is a problem that needs to be fixed then I've asked for all the windows to be removed and fully treated before they are put back in but would like to get others views as I am anything but an expert on wooden windows!
I've attached a photo taken on Saturday morning - as before the majority of the windows are now covered by these marks.
Thanks in advance
