Advise on what type of wood primer required for finishing

hi, can some one advise the type of primer I need to use in order to spray in white emulsion few 1 inch X 4 inch discs made out of Sofft wood . Thanks

If you don't get the current rating correct, the wood will be cold and you will need an undercoat.
 
Emulsion - a fine dispersion of minute droplets of one liquid in another in which it is not soluble or miscible. So any metallic paint is an emulsion paint! In the main we think of solid flakes suspended in water but maybe he has a more literal meaning and he wants something to attract the paint onto the disc.

True metallic paints (i.e. those containing metallic particles) are suspensions. As your definition tells us, they can't be emulsions, since none of the metals concerned are liquids at room temperature.
