AEG oven replace part

Hi
This oven cuts out after a short period of use ,If left to cool down it starts again. then after a while cuts out.
I am told by the spares people I need a K oc?
Anyway the part is about £20 my question is is it easy to replace the part?
I an used to putting cards etc into computers is it a similar job to that?

K OC? Do you mean a TOC?
If it's the safety stat or thermostat they're quite easy to replace.
You'll have to take the oven apart and see how the original is fitted, remove it and replace it.

Some ovens have a cylindrical fan at the top. If this stops working the control panel area can overheat and trip the TOC. Check this out before ordering any parts.
