Am at my in laws house. There was an awful smell like drains in the house. Managed to figure out it was coming from the fridge freezer. It's an aeg Santo, we checked for blockages in the pipes that run to the drip tray and the drip tray itself was bone dry and they were fine. While we were having a look, noticed a big puddle underneath. We got rid of the ice build up in the freezer using a steam cleaner thing. We identified that the leak was from the freezer as we could see a large build up of liquid coming down the freezer. We then noticed the drip tray filling up, rapidly. Now the damn thing seems to have given up completely. The freezer temp reads -5 and the fridge reads +8. Is it completely goosed?

Wtf, come down this morning and everything is hunky dory! Do these fridges self reset in hot weather? No smell or leak either
