Bit of a saga if you can bear with me..
The dispenser is shown in the picture, I’ve tried cleaning the little holes in the bottom of it where the water comes out into the conditioner drawer but it did no good.
Another problem which may be related is that the machine stops mid cycle with error code E10 which means insufficient water supply.
So, all in all, I think that the inside of the dispenser is clogged up and I would like to either clean it out thoroughly or replace it.
My questions are:
- is it possible to take the lid off the dispenser and would doing that that enable me to clean it out - I have no idea what it looks like inside.
It seems to be held in place by plastic press-in fittings (circled in pic.)
but they are VERY tight and I am frightened of breaking them if I apply too much force
- does anyone know of a supplier where I might be able to get a new one.
Machine is about 9 years old, model L6FBG842R

I've just been readings online about your problem.
Could be the inlet valve solenoid which are around £25 if you can't find the blockage.
For the cost worth a punt?

I'm not familiar with your machine but on most machines you would release the catch at the back of the powder draw and slide it out so that you can clean behind it. You shouldn't need to remove that lid.
E10 may be a lack of water but more likely it is not sensing the level. This is usually a blockage in the pump if the pressure switch is connected to it via a small tube that runs from the pump up to the pressure switch.
Look at your instructions about how to clean the lint fiter.
Or if it is fitted to the rear of the drum assy. it will need removing and cleaning or replacing if you can identify it is faulty.
With the top of the machine off you should be able to hear if the inlet solenoid is operating and passing water into the powder draw but unless it is leaving powder behind I doubt that wil be a problem.

Take lid off machine.
There is nothing much inside so you will see pressure sensor with rubber tube going down. Pull pipe off pressure sensor and blow down tube to clear.
Push back on switch.
Never blow in switch though as very sensitive...
