Hi,
I have purchased a labgear 6 way amp/distribution unit as well as magic eyes and all connectors and clips etc. My problem is that i need to connect the cable from the magic eyes to the tv and from the RF2 on sky unit to cable going to amp and i have been supplied with female sockets (hollow pin) but i need male sockets (solid pin) and i cannot find any. Can anybody help me?

Thanks,

Gary.

they dont have a solid pin which is why you wont find them

they are hollow and the central core goes into it

You can get TV connectors at ANY shed, B&Q/Focus or most corner hardware stores.

Take the amp with you & someone should be able to advise you what you want there.

I am confused! The RF2 on sky box and the outlet on magic eyes all have a socket with a solid pin that my connectors are too small to fit on even though they are hollow! Are there sockets with bigger diameter holes that i can purchase or am i missing something?

Thanks,

Gary.

It sounds like you have male plugs. They are the same size as the ones on your unit . It's just that the ones on your unit are solid. You need female ones which are also hollow but larger.

I kid you not, i had to get a few bits earlier tonight, and yes they do sell both male and female plugs
