I have an open vented ch system which has always drawn some air in. I have had to vent my towel rails every 3-4 days. Yesterday an RGI fitted an aerjec de-aerator into the system and I wondered if these are any good. It certainly makes quite a lot of gurgling noise.

I hope he fitted it the correct way up (see Diagram 4), as the orientation has to be as shown, i.e. the vent at the top with the body vertical.
