after a hatch? to cover stop tap

Hello all,

In a room, i've boxed in my soil pipe. In the boxed in bit the water main runs up along side the soil pipe with the stop tap at the bottom. i've left a hole 6 inch square to get at the tap and would like a hatch type thing to cover the hole that is unobtrusive? any ideas?

Screwfix have an 8 x 6" plastic access cover for this situation. £9.99 IIRC and they look good as is, or can be emulsioned over

thats excellent, any chance of a link? cant find it any where. Also been on the phone to screw fix and they cant help either?

why not a tear drop shape piece of wood fixed at the top?

Am I a bit late to suggest a piece of wood and some magnet catches? Will be a perfect match for the boxing you've done because you can cover/tile/paint it the same as the rest of it...
