Hi
Anyone out there know if it’s possible to de register a cloud account on an Agility 3? I’ve bought a system second hand, resetting the system to factory default is straight forward, but I’m unable to register the system to the Risco cloud as it’s been registered by the previous owner or installer. I’m not a stranger to these systems, but am by no means an expert, my experience is with cctv and access control systems, and I’ve drifted into intruder alarms.
From what I understand, the original installer has to unregister/release the panel, but as I’m have little chance of finding out who that is, I wondered if there was another way of achieving the same goal?
Any advice would be appreciated

If your an installer then best way forward is to contact RISCO, if not then not sure as you need the panel ID to register in risco engineers cloud, not so sure it can be added to another system unless released.

I can’t see Risco releasing it without being able to verify the chain for security reasons.

I know that when my customers move house I can change over to the new owner within my engineers access, however due diligence means I have to check, some users notify me of the new owner and I can close access off from the old one on completion and wait for new owner to get in touch.

Thanks for that, I’m not a Risco accredited installer, I’m not a registered installer of alarms at all, but from my background in cctv/access entry installation, I can easily find my way round the Agility system. I’m fully aware that as I’m not the original owner of this second hand system Risco will never release the panel for re registering to the cloud. I know that normally I would need to contact the original installation company or whoever first registered the system and ask them to release or de register the panel. Even with the the panel ID, which I do have, I still can’t register if it’s already registered. So my question to anyone with a good knowledge of Agility systems, is can the system be de register without going through the normal channels? I’m guessing not!

You can certainly use the system if you can access the programming menus.

however cloud access may be affected, in that to use the CS software it requires an install password in the engineers portal.

the previous owner of the system can change your login details for the app.
The person that sold you it, should be able to help???

There is a chance that the engineer didn’t originally register the system as it wouldn’t have been needed until recently for the system to work, just user registration.

Engineers only need the cloud to remote access the panel with the CS software.

The system can be transferred by

The end user (master user)
The engineer that it’s registered the panel if they have it
(De registering it won’t change the user registration, only allow the panel to be assigned to another engineers account, the passwords in the panel would need confirming to complete the registration)
Risco may be able to assign both user and engineer if required, but are unlikely to do so without verification.

There is no way that I am aware that can’t go round these.

It is a security system after all.
Nothing to stop you contacting Risco to become an installer if your already in the security trade, they may ask for documentation to confirm your status like insurance and trading documents.

If you have access to the passwords for cloud access and the panel ID I can see if the panel is registered to an engineer, it may not be, as wasn’t necessary in order for user to use the panel, just for CS remote access

The CS software is just for programming and until relatively recently didn't require an require an engineers details to be assigned to the panel at all, just the access paswwords.

The CS software would work over IP with the appropriate passwords but wouldn't require the engineers account to be setup that's only needed for the cloud.

The app doesnt require the engineer access to be set up either, thats just for the CS software to work over the cloud.

You cant register an Agility 2 on the cloud either.

Hi Guys! I have a simillar question, just bought a house which included this system. I think I have all the passwords needed. I have created an installer account on https://www.riscocloud.com/IC/ where I created a new site and moved the panel to it. I also updated the cloud password using CS via IP to my panel and added the same cloud password on the site.

However the panel continue to state "offline". I can login to the site inmy app (iRisco) and login with the old owners password. I have checked the port (33000) and adress (www.riscocloud.com) but it won't go online.

Does anybody have an idea why? Do I need to do any port forwarding in the router?

Appriciate any help I can get.

Thanks for the reply so I can rule out that one. What else do I need to check? The cloud password + panel ID are correct on both the site and when looking via CS locally. Could it have something to do with master password?

Hi Mate,

how did you go with your Panel ID?

I ahave same issue..... is it possible to reset?

shouldn't be resurrecting 3 year old threads as things change this should be a new thread.

contact Risco, if the panel is registered and find out what they need to get it released
