Okay, I'm having problems. Replaced a broken air vent (brick) internally with a new plastic one. Size marked on new vent is 6500mm2.
Room measures 21'x11.5'x8' + 6'x3'x8' which equals 1940'3 or 56.5m3.
Now, I'm told this aint big enough but obviously the bloke who tells me this doesn't sit in my front room and watch the telly when the wind whistles through and straight up the (open plan) stairs and out the bedroom/ bathroom windows (these are never shut). is there a formulae for air vent size to room size ? If so, can someone tell me (might as well get it right, might want to move on someday)? Ex-authority house and it was always o.k., but then but since we bought it........................
