I have just had some windows installed and by mistake forgot to get trickle vents installed (had it on all the quotes except the one i took)

The building inspection mentioned that i should have some but an alternative would be to put in an airbrick high up the wall which had a switchable vent in it - Anyone know where you might get these as the only air bricks I have seen are the normally open ones.

You'll get them anywhere, merchants, the sheds etc, if you're searching on Google you need to enter 'hit and miss vent'. These 'vents' affix to the inside of the wall and cover the air brick.

Realistically I would have thought it would have been easier/cheaper to retrofit a vent into the window.
