Air conditioning

Not sure this is the right forum for this topic but here it goes...

Has anyone put air conditioning in their house? How complicated
is it? How expensive is it? What's the easiest way to install etc?

1. Yes.
2. Easy.
3. Cheap units are fine I have two so did two rooms for about £650 but that was about 4 or 5 years ago. Daikin best I have one.

Where is the best place to buy the bits from?

I would like to have small tidy duct plates ceiling mounted. I live in a bungalow so would like if possible to put the outside unit round the back bolted to the floor then get a feed into the loft and feed via a ceiling duct. I really don't want any massive kit bolted onto the wall. It would also help with server cooling which would be an added bonus!
