The hot water supply to my en-suite had to be routed via the loft space meaning it goes up from the hot water tank , across the loft and down into the floor cavity before rising to the sink and bath. I have installed a bleed screw to expel air but every few days air collects and the sytem needs bleeding again. The pipe run is below the cold water tank. Any suggestions?

Install a t piece in the pipe in the loft and run a pipe from the t back to vent over the storage tank.

Years ago in long properties they used to stick a secondary vent pipe out through the roof.

But of course im not sugesting you do that ;)

As cider suggests, at the highest point in the horizontal run, but make sure the highest point of this secondary vent is the same height as the existing vent pipe.
