Does anyone know if there are sometimes underfloor air vents BETWEEN the houses on a 30's terrace?

On my terrace there are air vents on the houses at the front (and possibly the back) but I want to know if there might also be vents in the party walls under the floors.

Many thanks!!

Not usually; party walls should be imperforate from top to bottom as, amongst other things, they form a fire-separation between the houses.
The air bricks should be on opposite wall faces (ie front and rear in your case) to encourage cross-ventilation. There would not be much opportunity for adequate air movement along the row of houses (sideways).

It's an unusual question; why do you need to know?!
